Abstract
The cause of climate change detection is very tedious and complex phenomenon. The present study highlights the rainfall variability and has been identified using the nonparametric Mann-Kendall and Sen’s slope estimators over for 20 years from 2001- 2020. The non-parametric tests have been tested at the 5% level of significance. The non-parametric tests were applied for 12 months and divided into four season as pre monsoon (March, April and May), monsoon period (June, July, August and September), post monsoon (October, November and December) and winter rainfall (January and February). Annual rainfall has also been evaluated to show the trends of rainfall in Mizoram.
