Abstract
One of the most prominent multicomponent reactions (MCRs), Biginelli reaction has
been utilized for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones catalyzed one-pot
condensation of aldehyde, β- ketoester and urea in presence of ethanol. The present
study deals with synthesis of biologically active 3, 4- dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones
using nano crystalline CeO2.
